Tim Tigner continues to rise in the ranks of top new novelists. His stories are great; the characters come to life. The technical content is both credible ... and â€incredible!â€Twist and Turn is so entertaining, that you’ll be reading it every chance you get, right to the very end. It’s so realistically plausible, that you’ll easily believe it could be real. Best of all Tim casts his Middle Eastern perpetrators as driven not by jihad, but by human emotions and motivations.I’ve read everything Tim has written and from the very start I said he was “the new Tom Clancy.†I was wrong. He’s a better writer than Clancy, with more breadth of knowledge and variety as a storyteller.. Keep on, Tim.
There are two big reasons you should read Tim TIgner: 1) you will really love his books! They're the kind you can't put down but really want to make last... that exquisitely frustrating feeling of wanting more, more, more but knowing you're consuming it way too fast and are going to be left with empty hands far too soon... so you keep reading into the night, hating your own lack of self-discipline... but I digress. (Where was I?) Oh, yes... you'll love his books. 2) We must keep this man gainfully employed lest he turn to the dark side and become an inventive evil mastermind the likes of which would be untouchable by our best law enforcement agencies!!!! DON'T LET THAT HAPPEN PEOPLE! His ideas of nefarious no-gooding are creative, plausible, and... terrifying!! So, for my part, I say keep writing from the side of the good guys, Mr Tigner!! We promise to keep reading!
I've read all of Tim's books. Twist and Turn was another one of his hard to put down novels. Interesting and clever.....just a ton of fun - the pages fly by. Hollywood should start making Tim Tigner movies.
Tim Tigner’s mind is truly a marvel. His ability to take standard thriller crimes (in this case, kidnapping) and blow them into literary outer space is extraordinary. Twist and Turn begins with a revenge kidnapping and evolves into a major conspiracy (can’t say more — spoiler). Just know that the twists are unexpected and truly devious. And the characters are not cardboard stereotypes — none are pure evil or pure good. Also, the author has cleverly used couples as the major players: Kyle and Katya are together, the lead kidnappers are a married couple and fellow kidnap victims Oz and Sabrina form a special bond with Kyle and Katya that propels the action in a whole new direction.But what I liked most is that Kyle Achilles and his beloved Katya become partners in every sense of the word. Their relationship was always strong, but here Katya shows that her spirit and resourcefulness when on her own matches that of the indomitable Achilles. This entry in the series has an emotional depth not seen in the previous books. Thank you, Tim Tigner, for another wonderful visit to your world!
Book 4 in this exciting series is well worth the read. Once again the technical know-how is amazing and interwoven into the plot with extremely credible situations, this time in the Middle East. I thoroughly enjoy the interaction between the characters which continues to grow as the series continues. It’s hard to believe that all of this spy stuff is out there. These stories are all the same in the fact that once you start you have to read to the end - they are that exciting. This author is a fabulous story teller. Looking forward to Book 5.
