Horrible title. Excellent book.The title makes the book seem a little scary but it is far from it. A must have for anyone with children as it is simple and easy to read and prompts for discussion with your little one in ways that they will understand. With the increasing number of child predators it is important that children know what is okay and what is not when it comes to thier body and boundaries. I highly recommend.
Great book. I was concerned about possible biases (specifically religious), but the way it is written, it gives topics and direction with room to share your own values and opinions with your children.
I really love the concept of this book. However, I believe it was a little too pricey for what it was. It's not a tiny book. The most disappointing part is that there weren't any diagrams included. For the anatomy talks, I would love to have pictures to show my kids.Overall, I really do like this book. It's helped me talk with my kids about important subjects. If I could go back in time, I would still buy this.
My only complaint is I wish it had more sample dialogue. What they had was great but I need more help. 😳Other than that I thought it was a really nice progression and age appropriate way to approach this sensitive subject.
This book is exactly what parents need. Leaves topics open for religious and personal views but helps parents talk about the basics and importance of our bodies and sexuality. I've recommended this book to tens of people.
I wish I could write a proper review of this book, because it sounds like the content is great. But, the color of the font used to print on the white paper is really difficult to read, I have to strain my eyes to read it, which ruins the experience of reading it naturally when I need to focus on just seeing the words properly.
We absolutely love these books and how they create conversations with our little humans about their bodies and how it goes about it!!! Couldn't recommended this book more! Keep up the great work!!!
My wife and I purchased two of the three series, you know how kids get older and all, and we were impressed with how much we were able to learn from the first book. I thought I had it all together and would know exactly what to say and when but found myself realizing I was a bit too confident after shedding some light on what seemed like methods that would truly help my child feel loved and on the path to healthy relationships, not to mention a positive experience with puberty and growing up with sex.
